The Fat Bear Lodge in King Salmon, Alaska

Climb aboard and set out into Alaska’s pristine wilderness. We provide a variety of different transportation options for your adventure, ranging from backcountry sherps, to four-person side by side all-terrain vehicles, to float plane fly-outs, and jet boats.

All meals are included in your package. We serve a set menu each day. Please communicate any dietary restrictions at the time of booking.

Deluxe cabins- Feature an option of two double beds or one king size bed, ensuite bath, gas fireplace, private deck overlooking Gold Creek, Apple TV with streaming capabilities, and free WIFI.

Luxury yurts- Feature 2 queen beds, gas fireplace, private deck overlooking forested tundra, sitting area, Apple TV with streaming capabilities, free WIFI, and private detached bathroom.

The Guesthouse– A great option for large groups or families. This cabin features 4 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, living room, gas fireplace, Apple TV with streaming capabilities, and free WIFI. This cabin can also be divided to be used for smaller groups.

A 50% payment is required to secure any reservation, the balance is due 90 days prior to arrival. If booked within 90 days of arrival, the full balance of the reservation is due at the time of booking. Because of our short season and limited availability all payments are non refundable. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. *Please note that we do not include travel agent commissions into our pricing. We prefer to work directly with the guest to plan the perfect stay.

Check in is after 3 PM/check out is 10 AM. On occasion extended check out can be arranged until 1 PM. Check out beyond 1 PM will be charged an additional night stay. All inclusive package rates that include meals will be charged for any meals requested after 10 AM on the day of check out.

In addition to our already popular cozy log guest cabins, we have added 3 luxury Yurt guest cabins to the Fat Bear Lodge portfolio of exceptional guest accommodations!…The ultimate glamping experience! Each luxury Yurt will feature two queen sized beds (with additional sleeping accommodations for up to 6 people per yurt), private detached bath, fireplace, sitting area, and deck. With all of the amenities of our deluxe log cabins, you will definitely not be roughing it here at Fat Bear Lodge!

*All are welcome at Fat Bear Lodge and we especially love families who visit…… However, due to our remote location, and some of the adventures offered, we recommend our lodge is most ideal for families with children 10 years old and older. We frequently have bears who wonder through the lodge property, as well as Moose and other Alaska wildlife. It is the parent’s responsibility to keep children in sight and supervised at all times, inside and outside the lodge. Please call us to discuss reservations for families with children younger than 10.
